Matt Haughey got in touch in early 2009 inquiring about getting some cycling kits designed for his newly formed cycling team, Buy Local. The team is focused on highlighting local (Oregon) bike products and builders, while racing their hearts out doing so. Given prior experience and a penchant for cycling, it was a great match. The design incorporates a clean simple retro-modern look, inspired by vintage designs of cycling kits from the past and the blues from Oregons state flag.
