This site has long used Textpattern, which I’ve been a huge fan of since its inception by Dean Allen. Having been a fan of Allen’s writing and original sites, and Textpattern’s content-first approach, it’s been our CMS of choice for a while.
The admin has remained largely unchanged since Allen created it. That’s a decade or so. A testament to the straightforwardness of the design, but there were mostly typographic and modern styles that could be applied. Since we use it a lot, and look at it a lot, I thought it’d be worthwhile to spend a few hours customizing and overwriting the styles.
