As I have a very big fondness for the Alien canon and the quadrilogy, Ridley Scott’s return to science fiction and the universe that birthed Alien is exciting. There have been small snippets of teasers and teaser trailers for Prometheus but the full-length trailers below capture what I hope to be a consuming departure into that world come June 8.
Below, the US version (top) and the UK version (bottom). The two treatments are interesting — the UK version, quieter and more chilling. Regardless, the pseudo-screaming-blaring of the score towards the end is this year’s Inception trailer score, and I love it.
